Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Desktop Support Engineer (Imaging & Configuration) to join our growing IT department. This role is a perfect blend of technical expertise and user-centric support, focusing on maintaining a healthy and secure desktop environment for our employees.
Responsibilities:

• Manage cloud migrations, particularly from on-premises Active Directory to Entra ID, ensuring smooth and secure transitions.

• Manage and support Office 365 services across multiple tenants, including user provisioning, security configuration, and ongoing optimization.

• Implement and maintain robust security measures for cloud environments, leveraging tools like EntraID, InTune, and other available security features.

• Develop and utilize automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to streamline administrative tasks and improve overall efficiency.

• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues, providing expert troubleshooting and resolution for network, server, and application problems.

• Proactively monitor and maintain both on-premises and cloud infrastructure health using appropriate tools and implementing alerting systems.

• Collaborate with the Security Architect and team to ensure the highest level of security across all infrastructure and adherence to company policies and compliance regulations.

• Work closely with IT Solution Architects and other team members to identify, implement, and optimize solutions that meet evolving business needs.

• Lead and mentor the IT team, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and fostering career growth.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices, applying this knowledge to continually improve IT operations and infrastructure.

• Stay up-to-date on the latest VMWare, Linux, and Microsoft technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft infrastructure solutions (both on-premises and cloud-based).

• Proven experience with Active Directory and identity management solutions, with a strong understanding of the migration process to EntraID.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:
$80,165.54-137,315.36 USD
The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs.
