Work on a team focused on Systems Hardware Engineering that designs, builds, brings-up, and productizes PCB boards and platforms. The boards and platforms showcase Machine Learning SoC and are used for bring-up and debug, characterization, customer samples, and eventually production. This role entails cross-functional collaboration, defining various strategies which are part of system engineering, working for internal bring-up, validation needs as well as external customer requirements.
Areas of focus:
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including vendors and partners to perform technical and business feasibility analysis to enable strategic roadmap and finalize technical specifications.
- Drive internal validation, bring up, productize to ensure boards and platforms meet critical customer specifications and timelines.
- Drive holistic approach to System Engineering - work with ops, silicon, SW, business teams.
- Define and drive compliance strategy for the various boards.
- Define and drive necessary simulations.
Required Background:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (Master's degree is a plus).
- 10+ years work experience in PCB board or Systems Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in PCB board design techniques and standard methodologies including high-speed signal routing and Signal Integrity.
- Experience in the use of high-end lab equipment such as high-speed oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, etc.
- Knowledge of High-speed I/Os such as LPDDR, PCIe, and Ethernet (ideally at least two of these).
Desired:
- Knowledge of networking protocol analyzers such as PCIe is a big plus.
- Knowledge of ASIC characterization is a plus.
- Knowledge of PCB manufacturing, assembly, and test is a plus.
- Knowledge of Quality, Reliability, and Certification of PCB products is a plus.
Estimated Min Rate: $80.00
Estimated Max Rate: $90.00
