Full-Stack Developer - SQL, C#

This role is eligible to participate in Zenith’s hybrid work schedule which provides the flexibility to work from home on select days of the week according to the in-office schedule established by regional executive leadership. Selected candidate must be able to report into the Woodland Hills, California office on a weekly basis.

A Brief Overview

Under general supervision, develops, tests, debugs, maintains and documents information systems applications. Performs code walk-throughs, reviews and audits. Executes complete life cycle for simple to moderately complex application components based on design specifications.

What You Will Do

1. Participate in development projects by performing various development tasks quickly without sacrificing efficiency or reliability. Development projects typically involve SQL, C#, ASP .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue, and/or XML.
2. Design and develop tables, views, stored procedures, and indexes in MS SQL Server.
3. Develop and maintain automated Word and Excel templates as requested. These templates are created by working closely with the client in order to meet (and hopefully exceed) the client's expectations and help improve the company's workflow. Templates usually require VBA and SQL.
4. Assists in creating functional, technical, and/or end-user documentation.
5. Develops modules or components of a particular application based on design specifications, while adhering to defined programming standards, structured coding techniques and development methodologies.
6. Performs maintenance and problem resolution within an application and related databases.

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of training/experience required.

Experience Qualifications

• 3+ Years related work experience required.

Skills And Abilities

• 3+ years of experience with stored procedure and database development in MS SQL Server preferred.
• 3+ years of experience with web development using ASP .NET (C#), JavaScript preferred.
• Experience with markup and style language processing like HTML, XML, and CSS a plus.
• Experience with front-end libraries and frameworks such as jQuery, Vue, and Bootstrap a plus.
• Experience using Git, SVN or other version control software a plus.
• Preference for Insurance Business domain knowledge in at least 1 area (Policy, Claims, Other).
• Practical understanding/demonstration of Development process and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply advanced features and functions of systems, processes, technology standards and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player, self-starter, motivated, and multi-task oriented.
• Ability to prioritize work requirements.

The expected salary range for this position is $108,771.75 to $120,857.51. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job level.
