JOB REQUIREMENTS: Computer Numerically Controlled Tool Operator/Computer Numerically Controlled Tool Programmers CNC Machinists are a crucial part of our product timeline. Responsibilities include: -Being able to read specs/blueprints. -Physically setup and operate the machines in your cell. -Maintain an organized workstation. -Prep parts for the next stages of the Manufacturing process. Prop Shaft Supply is a leader in the manufacturing of drivelines, driveshafts and driveshaft components and we are growing! The company has over 30 years of experience in the driveline business, serving large OEM\'s as well as industrial accounts and small driveline repair shops. Prop Shaft Supply is seeking Assemblers on both 1st and 2nd shift! We offer competitive wages depending on experience and a \$2 shift premium for 2nd shift. CNC Machinist Job Requirements: -1-2 Years prior experience in CNC Machining. (Students who are taking relevant classes to CNC Machining are also encouraged to apply.) -A 70lbs lift test and pre-employment drug screening is required. -Have the ability to stand for long periods of time. -Must be willing to use hand tools and power tools. -Must wear proper PPE while on the shop floor. Additionally: Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments, such as micrometers or vernier calipers. Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders. Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations. Program computers or electronic instruments, such as numerically controlled machine tools. Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate products. Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process. Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition. Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines. Operate equipment to verify operational efficiency. Evaluate machining procedures and recommend changes or modifications for improved efficiency or adaptability. Dispose of scrap or waste material in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations. Confer with engineering, supervisory, or manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information. Separate scrap waste and related materials for reuse, recycling, or disposal. Check work pieces to ensure that they are properly lubricated or cooled. Full time Hours: 1st Shift: 6am-4pm, Monday-Thursday 2nd Shift: 4pm-2am, Monday-Thursday Overtime is available on Fridays, sign-up required. No mandatory overtime. Students: Part time hours will be determined on a case-by-case basis, per each student\'s school schedule. Other Benefits: Employees are paid for all breaks/mealtimes. 3 total breaks per shift: -(2) 10-minute breaks -(1) 15-minute lunch break Breaks are taken at different times depending on your department, but all employees are paid the ENTIRE time they are in the facility.
