Developer - Developer II

Job Description:

Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

1. Understanding of the full Software Development lifecycle.
2. Experience developing products for customer-facing end users.
3. 3+ years of programming experience with Java/Python/Typescript.
4. 3+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems.
5. Experience developing full stack applications with React-based front ends and Python-based backends.
6. Experience with deploying and writing Infrastructure as code with AWS CDK (preferred choice) or AWS CloudFormation.
7. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

1. Experience leading a software team as a tech lead.
2. Experience using Web Services.
3. Experience developing for Linux.
4. Experience coaching and mentoring junior members on a software team.
5. Experience building scalable front-end infrastructure software or distributed systems for commercial online services.
