Staff Software Engineer

TITLE: Staff Software Engineer

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

DUTIES:

1. Work on our new solution within the Ivanti Neurons cloud platform, integrating with Microsoft’s Intune platform.
2. Contribute to product discovery and design.
3. Join a high performing team that takes pride in living with a quality code base.
4. Maintain and extend Ivanti’s Patch for MEM product.
5. Rotate responsibility with other team members to resolve bugs and other customer reported issues.
6. Demonstrate completed features to development team and wider engineering teams.
7. Track work progress using ADO or other industry tools.
8. Gain domain specific knowledge of the patch management products supported.
9. Participate in agile ceremonies.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering (any), or related.

Five (5) years in any occupation in which C# software development experience is gained must include:

1. Experience using modern web front end development such as Angular.
2. Containerized cloud development such as Kubernetes.
3. Objects and static functions, instead of a single hammer.
4. Create and maintain sophisticated CI and CD pipelines in ADO.
5. Create and maintain cloud messaging implementations using Azure Service Bus or similar messaging technologies.
6. Create and maintain applications using microservice architecture.
7. Implement data storage solutions using MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases.
8. Create and maintain telemetry for monitoring cloud application performance using Application Insights or similar technology.
9. Create and maintain network messaging capabilities using MQTT or similar technologies.
10. Object-oriented development skills using C#.
11. Create and maintain multithreaded implementations using C#.
12. Designing and creating comprehensive and effective unit tests.
13. Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve challenging issues and defects.

TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE: Reports to company headquarters in South Jordan, UT. Can work remotely or telecommute up to 100%.

SALARY: $160,000 per year
