About The Role
You will work in all phases of project delivery from initial design, code development, application testing and delivery to the production environments. We utilize ECL (Enterprise Control Language) & KEL (Knowledge Engineering Language), proprietary languages, you should be open to learning these.
Responsibilities
- Designing, coding and documenting automated test cases within a defined framework to ensure quality of our product. Under the guidance of senior-level engineers, successfully implement development processes, coding best practices and code reviews.
- Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
- Writing and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of simple complexity.
- Resolving basic technical issues, as necessary. Keeping abreast of new technology developments.
- Completing simple bug fixes. Write Unit tests and other dev tests.
- Learning the codebase and improving your coding skills. Maintain flexibility to react quickly to changes in priorities or circumstances to meet the needs of the business.
- Have Basic knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Proficiency with data manipulation languages and modeling principles.
- Possess the willingness to learn ECL (Enterprise Control Language) & KEL (Knowledge Engineering Language). Knowledge of data storage subsystems.
- Experience with development languages including but not limited to: Object Oriented Development, Java/J2EE, HTML, XML, SQL. Familiarity with development in a Windows environment
- Have a basic understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud platform. Knowledge of test-driven development. Knowledge of source-code-control and configuration management, GitLab/GitHub
