Education & Experience:
Advance degree and experience - PhD degree and about 17 years' experience, MS degree and 19 years' experience, BS degree and about 25 years' experience.
Top Skills & Years of Experience:
- 20 years supporting commercial or federal science, nuclear engineering or other task relevant programs or projects.
- Demonstrated experience with successful startup of new product lines and/or technologies.
- Demonstrated experience preparing, monitoring, and reporting for various program or technical plans, including schedules, scope, and budgets.
Nice to Have:
- SRS Design Engineering experience and working knowledge of SRNS design processes and procedures is preferred.
- Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years are preferred.
- Experience with developing and implementing strategies and plans for staffing new organizations.
Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance. An active DOE clearance is not initially required to perform assigned duties. After award, the selected candidate will be notified when to apply for a clearance based on specific work assignments.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years are preferred.
In addition to education, the following are preferred skill, knowledge and or experience qualifications:
1. More than twenty (20) years supporting commercial or federal science, nuclear engineering or other task relevant programs or projects.
2. Ten (10) or more years in a technical management role.
3.Engineering background with experience in designing 3D computer aided design (CAD) models and implementing Industry 4.0 concepts.
4.Familiarity with software applications for product lifecycle management (PLM).
5.Demonstrated experience with successful startup of new product lines and/or technologies.
6..Experience with developing and implementing strategies and plans for staffing new organizations..
7. Demonstrated experience preparing, monitoring, and reporting for various program or technical plans, including schedules, scope, and budgets.
8.SRS Design Engineering experience and working knowledge of SRNS design processes and procedures is preferred.
