As a Security Engineer at Notable, you will help automate, design, and develop code into solutions to improve our PHI/PII protections across our products, engineering, and operations. From developing auditing and monitoring tools to designing and building technical controls you will help improve security.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be someone with a dedicated mindset towards making things happen. You can understand the big picture, take ownership, and tackle problems wherever they arise. Domain knowledge in enterprise software or health care is not required.

- Develop features to improve internal operations and engineering processes
- Work with other software engineers to help perform risk analysis for new features
- Leverage Notable’s machine learning and artificial intelligence tools to automate threat detection
- Identify security improvement opportunities with existing products and services
- Excellent problem solving, coding, and debugging skills
- Deep understanding of modern web application development
- Generalist skill set, able to work comfortably on frontend or backend problems
- Solve complex problems by breaking them up into simpler discrete problems and implement them across multiple services
- Experience writing maintainable, well tested, reliable code
- Successful in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Prior information security experience is not required
