Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer / Network Security Engineer

Location: Edison, New Jersey (Preferred Local to New Jersey) or need to relocate to New Jersey

Experience Required : Minimum of 1-3 years of Experience into Network Security or Cyber Security

Certifications : CompTIA Security+, CCNA, CCNP, AZ-900, SC-200, AZ-500, and CEH are highly Considerable.

Skills need to have:

1. Document and report security incidents to management with clarity and detail.
2. Extensive experience in GRC, SOC Level 1 & 2 operations, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
3. Proven background in SOC environments or related roles in cybersecurity and network security.
4. Proficiency with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, or Chronicle, along with endpoint security solutions.
5. Strong understanding of network security, including firewalls, IDS/IPS systems.
6. Knowledge of key security standards and frameworks like NIST, CIS, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, and ISO 27001.
7. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and threat intelligence trends.
8. Contribute to staff education by participating in security awareness programs.
9. Support compliance audits and maintain thorough documentation of security policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Master/bachelor’s degree in Networking, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
