Our client has a great entry level opportunity for a recent engineering graduate as an Engineering Technologist.  The role is part of a power distribution firm’s make ready team. The Engineering Technologist will be essential for evaluating options that allow for safe and effective designs of power distribution systems.ÂThe role will require candidates to occasionally travel to sites and perform field surveys gathering data to ensure all codes, regulations and requirements are being met. The majority of the role will take the information data gathered and input it in a proprietary software system making necessary adjustments. The Engineering technologist will prepare project and job packages including material lists, labor estimates, site drawings, and construction drawings for various installations of electrical facilities in a cost-effective manner. The Power Technologist will need to learn utility construction practices on public right of way and private land.Required:Engineering Degree (Mechanical or Electrical highly preferred but others will be considered)Reliable transportation to drive to sites in Metro Atlanta and across Georgia when necessary (10% travel)Strong Organization and Computer SkillsSome AutoCAD ExperiencePreferred:Experience going to the field and doing measurements or gathering information.Katapult Software ExperienceMust be able to work in Marietta or Peachtree City officePay: $25/hr6 month temp to hirePlease submit resume to: 678-802-6616
