Your Journey to Success

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of DevOps to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the infrastructure, developer tooling, desktop support, and business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our IT operations, but please note that this position does not include managing a team. You will work collaboratively with various teams to enhance our technological capabilities and support our business objectives.

Your Mission

  • Infrastructure Management:
    • Maintain, monitor, and optimize AWS infrastructure.
    • Ensure system availability, scalability, and security.
    • Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
    • Collaborate with vendors on trends and innovations.
    • Design and enforce change management protocols.
  • Provide and maintain developer tools to boost productivity and code quality.
  • Integrate new tools and technologies with development teams.
  • Streamline and automate CI/CD pipelines for rapid development and deployment.
  • Desktop Support:
    • Manage vendor desktop support for prompt issue resolution of IT-related issues for employees.
    • Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software for end-users.
    • Ensure policy and security compliance.
  • Business Systems:
    • Support and administer CRM, PMP, and other enterprise applications. Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions that improve efficiency and productivity. Maintain data integrity, security, and availability across business systems.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within IT operations. Establish best practices and guidelines for IT operations. Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Align IT initiatives with business goals via cross-functional teams. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on IT projects, issues, and improvements.

Qualifications that Set You Apart

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years in DevOps, IT infrastructure, and operations.
  • Proficient in scripting/automation tools (Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Expertise in AWS microservices (ECS, EKS, Lambda, and API Gateway).
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols and security.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role, even without direct reports.
  • Familiarity with business systems such as ERP and CRM platforms.
