Description:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with experience in React and Next.JS, and a strong interest in Generative AI and LLMs. In this critical role, you will spend approximately 60% of your time on managerial responsibilities and 40% on hands-on technical work. You will be responsible for overseeing the software development lifecycle, ensuring that our solutions are built to the highest standards of quality, performance, and scalability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and data science, to develop and execute our technical strategy and deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.


Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Managerial Responsibilities (60%):

  1. Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  2. Develop and execute the technical strategy, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  3. Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
  5. Establish and maintain engineering best practices, processes, and methodologies to ensure efficient and effective development.
  6. Drive the adoption of new technologies and tools to enhance the capabilities of our platform and improve development efficiency.
  7. Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our platform, implementing robust architecture and infrastructure.
  8. Manage the engineering budget and resources, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization.
  9. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, promoting professional growth and development.

Technical Responsibilities (40%):

  1. Lead full-cycle software development efforts, from ideation through deployment, ensuring our solutions exceed industry standards.
  2. Engage closely with product and design teams to translate user requirements into robust technical implementations.
  3. Actively participate in coding, code reviews, and technical problem-solving to ensure the quality of the codebase.
  4. Enhance system performance, reliability, and security, leveraging your expertise to drive excellence.
  5. Implement and optimize software components, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  6. Quickly identify and resolve technical issues to maintain seamless system operations.
  7. Drive continuous innovation, integrating new features and optimizing existing functionalities for maximum efficiency.
