Lead Sr. Tableau / SQL Developer (Oracle Federal Financials EBS)

Citizenship required.

Hybrid - onsite per Government schedule in Silver Spring, Maryland, and offsite

The ideal candidate will provide senior technical Tableau development support to a federal government client, which includes but is not limited to:

• Providing technical analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance support of large-scale enterprise data warehouse reporting and querying environment employing Oracle Federal Financials applications and associated interfaces
• Providing expert Tableau programming, query, and dashboard development, including tuning and optimizing queries and reports
• Supporting Tableau administration and configuration validation
• Support data analytics and data visioning for Federal Financial applications
• Developing integrated data stores and data extract routines for an enterprise data warehouse
• Performing internal testing and validation of other team member's work and cross-validating results against known control totals.

Working closely with the Federal client and other members of the Tableau development team to manage and prioritize development requests and provide senior technical support and guidance as required.

EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• 10+ years of detailed specific Tableau query and dashboard development skills
• 10+ years using Oracle databases
• 5+ years using Amazon Redshift
• 10+ years creating complex SQL queries
• 10+ years of Oracle Financials (EBS) application
• Experience developing and administering Tableau environments
• Extensive experience with joining disparate data sources into meaningful, usable queries and dashboards
• Expert experience implementing production quality queries and reports, including development of "As Implemented" documentation
• Experience interacting with reporting teams, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and senior staff as part of operations support
• Experience managing a technical team
• Experience performing initial testing and validation of software developed for adherence to standards and best practices and validation of results
• 10+ years of experience with financial systems
• 10+ years of experience with accounting systems
• Working with the federal government

Desired:

• Oracle Federal Financials experience is very desirable
• Federal administrative application experience is highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of Federal accounting terminology, concepts, and processing.
• 10+ years of progressive Oracle Financials (EBS) experience using Oracle databases.
