Description
In this role you will partner with software engineers and managers to define, schedule, and track the team's work and also do the same for many multi-functional initiatives. You will be the central hub bringing together teams across different organizations. You will oversee issue and priority management efforts among EPMs to drive data-driven decisions impacting product integrity. You will be responsible for communicating and delivering briefings and updates to senior engineering management and executives to enable rapid decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, engineering, or technical related field or international degree equivalent.
- 5+ years of Engineering Project Management experience.
- Experience managing projects using Agile software development methodology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Sharp interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across varied audiences in a climate of debate.
- Sound executive presence with the ability to communicate at the senior leadership levels.
- Excellent spoken and written communication with the ability to tailor communication style to multiple audiences.
- Strong technical intuition and understanding of basic software engineering concepts with ability to grasp complex software application design and process problems, while distilling them to their barest essences.
- Technical and analytical problem solver, and stitches between their work and the broader strategy.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
- Experience at prioritizing features, and building technical roadmaps.
- Ability to understand project financials, budgets, ROI etc.
- Skilled in navigating an environment of ambiguity and uncertainty, making sound decisions on behalf of their teams, and sets direction for the team with incomplete information or data.
- Calm under fire, high resilience and interest in complex problem-solving within a challenging and fast-paced environment.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
