We’re looking to grow our team and have an open position for an Application Desk Engineer to join our rapidly growing team! What You’re Good At
You are detail-oriented, consultative and have a genuine passion for engineering, safety and cybersecurity. You strive to effortlessly communicate and present both abstract and technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. As an Application Desk Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering team and clients. You will work closely with experienced engineers to learn and grow your skills in functional safety, alarm management, and cybersecurity.
This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early professionals to start their career in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Technical Support : Provide project technical assistance to engineers and account managers using exida and commercial software tools and templates.
- Learn and Grow : Work closely with experienced engineers and managers to develop your skills in functional safety, alarm management, and cybersecurity products and services, aiming to discover which expert engineering role(s) fit best for your interest and capability.
- Operations Support : Assist with core business operations and the improvement of these processes, using techniques such as process mapping and lean.
- Software Proficiency : Become proficient in using exida software tools for safety and cybersecurity assessments.
- Training and Development : Participate in training programs to enhance your technical knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A passion for learning and continuous improvement.
Desired Skills (but not required):
- Basic understanding of functional safety concepts.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., IEC 62443).
- Experience with software development or testing.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications and tools
