My client is leading general contractor who are currently partnered with one of the worlds largest hyperscale data center providers.


The Estimator will analyzes drawings and specifications to calculate labor costs for electrical construction projects. This role entails budgeting, cost estimation, and managing multiple bids simultaneously, requiring adaptability to project scale.


Your Duties

  • Data Management for project documents, arrange the estimate file, set up Accubid and Live Count, and pinpoint any gaps needing attention.
  • Support effective project management by handling documentation, aiding in change order development, fostering communication with field teams and clients, managing task finances, including forecasting work progress and monitoring project logs.
  • Generate precise takeoffs and estimates, review quotes/subcontracts, summarize estimates, and compose proposal letters. Discuss scope with clients and assess "comeback" items in the estimate.
  • Review bid forms, project documents and specifications. Proactively submit RFIs as required to define the scope of work.
  • Coordinate bid packages, deliver them to the purchasing department, and address vendor queries as needed.


Qualifications for Success

  • 4+ years of electrical estimating experience.
  • Commercial, semiconductor or mission critical project experience
  • Preferably experience with Accubid or similar software.
