Description
We are seeking a Licensed Mechanical Engineer with experience in designing mechanical and plumbing building systems and details including but not limited to ductwork, piping, sanitary, domestic water, medical gas, compressed air, natural gas, domestic water heating, and solar water heating.
The successful candidate has one or more years of experience as a licensed professional (PE), proven ability to conduct field investigations and site visits, perform submittal reviews, and coordinate with other disciplines to create cohesive construction documents. They should have an introductory level knowledge of ASHRAE 90.1, ASHRAE 181.1, ASHRAE 170, ASHRAE 62.1, NFPA 90A, and International Building Codes.
Our Mechanical Engineers have a role in mentoring and directing the activities of designers, participating in review meetings with clients, and documenting existing conditions.
Computer skills: Revit, AutoCAD, Trane Trace, Masterworks and/or Masterworks, MS. Office Suite.
Educational Requirements: Five-year Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET Accredited Engineering Program, NCEES Registration. LEED, CEM, or LC (preferred)
Travel: up to 20% depending on the project

Salary Range: $90,000-$130,000
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
