We partner with clients for quality assurance in the design, construction, and post-acceptance phases of building projects. We ensure that equipment in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and associated systems are designed, installed, and functionally tested to meet the clients' requirements and design intent.

The Senior Engineer will be directly responsible for meeting target billable hours as defined by the annual operating plan and the Regional Director of Engineering. In addition, the individual will focus on providing technical oversight and support to the team within the region.

Essential Functions:

1. Engineering Mentorship / Leadership:
   Provide leadership and support to foster the growth and development of other engineering staff members.
2. Client Maintenance / Quality Assurance:
   Engage in high-level client maintenance to assure all existing clients that the quality of services delivered is closely examined and under scrutiny.
3. Collaborate with executive management, directors, and team leaders/engineering managers to develop and maintain standards in quality assurance and training.
4. Revenue Generating Activities:
   Support company revenue targets by leading or assisting with existing projects as assigned.
5. Project assignments will be based on areas of expertise, relationships with clients, and other strategic client initiatives.
6. Meet billing utilization targets set by the company.
7. Business Development:
   Support company sales initiatives as requested by the Director of Engineering.
8. Lead and/or participate in client and educational presentations, trade shows, etc.
9. Support the business plan by initiating and developing new relationships with strategic clients and/or in strategic markets or sectors.
10. Participate in any special projects as required.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering
2. 8+ years of Engineering Experience
3. P.E., LEED AP, or CCP certification is a plus
4. Strong Communication Skills
5. Excellent coaching and mentoring abilities
6. Strong financial and analytical skills
7. Ability to present in front of groups
8. Excellent interpersonal skills
9. Physical fitness, capable of lifting 30 pounds or more and climbing ladders
10. Willingness to travel within the region, with flexibility to travel to other regions being advantageous
