Here at Keller Associates all aspects of the design are done in house! This includes site development, transportation, structural, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation.
An experienced CAD Civil Designer is needed to team up with our engineers to prepare site layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, and diagrams for a variety of infrastructure improvement projects. An ideal candidate has a solid understanding of drafting techniques, Civil 3D and familiarity with engineering terminology. They possess a willingness to undertake roles as needed and learn new skills and tools.
Responsibilities include:
- Design of municipal, commercial, and private land development projects
- Draft and assemble construction drawings as part of a team
- Prepare documents using Autodesk Civil 3D
- Conform to appropriate Company CAD standards and client standards
- Familiar with basic civil site design concepts, including grading and pipe networks
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Proficiency in Civil3D required
- Associates degree in computer aided drafting field with 2+ years in civil engineering field OR 4+ Years experience in civil engineering design
- If lacking the education requirement above, we request Portfolio of work that demonstrates strong performance on software
- Experience with other software is a plus
- Outstanding organizational skills

- Ability to collaborate with engineers and other draftsman to solve complex problems as a team
