Position Overview
Stanley is looking for a Quality Engineer to support our softgoods category. Working in new product development and active production spaces, ensuring production of high quality and globally compliant products that exceed customer expectations.
This role is on the Quality and Compliance team and is highly cross functional, partnering with our Technical Design, Color Material Finish, Product Development and Product Management teams. Developing and delivering a constant flow of innovative products that redefine the way people carry beverages and food everywhere.
In this role, you will review new designs and establish performance and safety standards. Partnering with our warranty team to create and refine new KPI's, establishing new processes and quality standards for our high-volume business.
What You'll Do
- Research and develop new standards and create SOP's related to New Product Development and Product Quality processes
- Maintain existing quality documents and records per established procedures.
- Act as the conduit between Quality and Product Development by taking part in NPD activities and fulfilling the Quality goals.
- Create and write quality test plans for new products, including both internal test methods and industry standards. Support development of inspection plans with overseas suppliers and team members.
- Work closely with product compliance team on regulatory requirements and approvals and ensure product safety and compliance through third-party testing.
- Support CAPA's (Corrective and Preventative Action) and work with manufacturing partners on Supplier Corrective Action Requests.
- Support change management activities.
- Lead product quality improvements across teams. Monitoring, analyzing and reporting to help drive improvements for our customer quality, reliability, and customer service performance.
- Investigate potential quality issues.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in soft goods
- Experience with production QC inspection methodology and AQL standards
- ASQ Quality Certification - CQT, CQE, CQM a plus
- Experience with PLM and QMS systems
- Six Sigma Certification a plus
- Experience working directly with manufacturers.
- Deep experience with the softgoods manufacturing process including cut, sew, and fabric welding.
- Possess deep knowledge and experience with New Product Development process and Quality by Design.
Salary Range
$85,000 - $105,000 annually.

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
