About this Role
We have a financial services client in downtown Cincinnati looking to have a talented Data Engineer join their Disputes Team. The data engineer designs and builds platforms, tools, and solutions that help the bank manage, secure, and generate value from its data. The person in this role creates scalable and reusable solutions for gathering, collecting, storing, processing, and serving data on both small and very large (i.e. Big Data) scales. These solutions can include on-premise and cloud-based data platforms, and solutions in any of the following domains ETL, Snowflake, SQL, MySQL, business intelligence, analytics, data modeling, etc.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate would bring the following:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Experience with ETL (DataStage preferred)
- Strong experience writing SQL
- Snowflake & DBT
- Experience with or a good understanding of Agile delivery
- Strong technical skills and a good understanding of software development principles
- Strong business and technology aptitude with a willingness to learn and understand business and software solution
