CNC Machinist

Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and sketches to determine machining requirements
• Setting up and operating manual machines such as mills and lathes
• Selecting and installing proper tooling for operations
• Calculating feeds and speeds for various materials
• Performing quality inspections and adhering to company policies and procedures
• Implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and participating in Continuous Improvement activities

Requirements:

• One year certificate from college or technical school, or equivalent experience
• Prior experience with precision inspection equipment
• Proven ability to hold tight machining tolerances
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
