As an Engineering Technician IV, you will provide customer support for onsite installations, repairs and maintenance of semiconductor equipment, primarily in Hillsboro Oregon.
What You'll Bring to the Table
To be a good fit for the Engineering Technician IV position, you will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineeringor equivalent experience (e.g., technical or military training or technical school) plus5-7 years of related experience
- Knowledge of Linux operating system for operating and troubleshooting the systemis preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field (i.e., semiconductor manufacturing equipment)
- Hands-on mechanical skills required
- Hands-on experience with electronic testing tools is required
- Excellent troubleshooting skills; and the ability to work on equipment alone and with other engineers, serving as a team player in challenging situations
- Excellentverbal and written communication and customer-facing skills
- Comfort working in a cleanroom environment most of the day (wearing a full clean room suit, face mask, gloves, and safety glasses), and in an environment that may include highly time-sensitive situations requiring quick resolution, including equipment problems
- Be the face of Canon and make a lasting impact by providing expert troubleshooting and problem-solving support for customers using Canon's advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
