The Global Payments team provides professional payment solutions with the smooth functioning of payment channels to all global businesses of ByteDance to support the expansion and growth of ByteDance’s global businesses.
The Data Intelligence team is responsible for designing & building data intelligence architecture, including data warehouses, data services, and data platform products, to support business. This team is also responsible for data analysis, algorithm development & optimization, and building data solutions for growth, risk control, and compliance to drive business through data-driven & algorithm-driven.
The Data Engineering team is responsible for designing & building data intelligence architecture, including data warehouses, data services, and data platform products, to ensure the quality and efficiency of the data.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing data infrastructure, data service and data mining in global payment business standardly, systematically, timely and proactively;
- Construct data warehouses in both offline and real-time, responsible for technical solution design and development in the field of global payment;
- Mining features, tags and profiting from massive amounts of data to support models, strategy and product optimization of business;
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor and above with majors in computer science, computer engineering, statistics, applied mathematics, data science or other related disciplines;
- Solid experience with data structures, algorithms, and big data techniques;
- Solid experience and understanding of data warehouse model design and data governance;
- Familiar with big data eco-systems frameworks and applications including Spark, Hive, Flink, Click-House, HDFS, etc. in theory and development details;
- Familiar with SQL, and strong coding skills in at least one of the following programming frameworks, e.g. Python, Java, C/C++, etc.;
- Strong ownership, good communication, and team collaboration capabilities;
Preferred Qualifications:
- Any project or work experience of payment, financial, credit preferred;
- Familiar with at least one business field like growth, risk control, compliance, or product;

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $187040 - $280000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
