Our client is currently seeking a Civil Designer. ÂJob Duties:Work independently to apply design principles for Land Development.Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of Land Development Projects.Modifying existing projects based on project scope.Knowledgeable of various civil design requirements – roadways, waterline, lift stations, general land development requirements for permitting.Participate in project review meetings with project team.Participate in office and site safety training and inductions as needed to support office and site activities.Perform field verification and provide field support during construction.Willingness and ability to travel to project work sites (including remote sites) as needs and opportunities arise.Requirements:Proficiency in Civil 3DCAD or Civil related degree (Technical Certification, AS or BS will be considered)Land Development project experienceDesign, drafting and modelling skills in 2D and 3D environmentsWorking knowledge of civil design components and materialsAbility to take instruction and work independentlyKnowledge of industry or regulatory standards and codes as required for civil designPreferred:Understanding or experience with layout development, county codes, SFWMD, and FDEP regulationsGood understanding of design principles related to civil design.
