SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - JAVA MICRO SERVICES

We are seeking software engineers to build APIs and micro-services working with product managers & developers, formulate software designs with enterprise architects, code, test, and help push into production in an all-In AWS cloud environment.

This position will focus on build out of backend platform capabilities for a machine learning full stack application (data – services – API – mobile/web consumer experience) with numerous complex technology, security and consumer experience elements.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) or Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of professional experience
2. 5+ years of Java and Linux experience
3. 2+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs / JSON
4. Strong data structures and algorithms / computer science fundamentals
5. Knowledge of relational and non-relational database design concepts
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced agile software release environment
7. Ability to work in a team or individually

3. Apply the latest technology to develop innovative solutions and assist in quality assurance
4. Create design proposals and proof of concept samples for review with internal stakeholders

6. Be able to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
7. Be responsible for the design, development, and testing of JSON/REST APIs and services in Linux to facilitate scalable front-end user interactions.
8. Have the ability to work in a team environment including effective communication within development groups, product, and business.
