CNC Machine Operator

Staffmark is hiring an experienced CNC Machine Operator for a leading manufacturing company in West Hartford, CT. In this role, you'll be integral to the production of high-quality firearm components, working with cutting-edge technology in a collaborative team environment. With shifts available to suit your schedule, this is your chance to take your career to the next level!
Pay: $29.28 - $30.08 per hour
Available Shifts:

• 1st Shift: 6:42 AM - 3:12 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:12 PM - 11:42 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:42 PM - 6:42 AM

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precise components based on engineering specifications
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to optimize machining processes
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
• Perform routine machine maintenance to ensure smooth operation
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as they arise

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of CNC Milling experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Expertise in CNC milling machine setup, operation, and programming
• Solid understanding of tool selection, speeds, and feeds for various materials
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
