Randstad Digital Solutions is looking for a talented, experienced, and influential Lead UI/UX Designer to join a product team focused on improving their IoT medical wearable device.

The Designer will be auditing current product and working through our client's design backlog of customer feedback improvements. This person will also drive the design strategy and roadmap, which means you will have the opportunity to make an impact not just on the product, but on how the organization works.

Job Duties - Duties & Responsibilities

● Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.

● Conceptualize original ideas that bring visual and design simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.

● Create and drive project roadmap facilitating the product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping, and user-testing experiences for digital products.

● Identify design problems, technical limitations, and devise elegant solutions.

● Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.

● Present and communicate design decisions cross-functionally and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.

● Promote user-centered design within the teams.

● Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements and concepts leveraging user-centered design into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.

● Will work with SME's, Product Owners, Scrums Teams and Development teams to ensure that the final product design is as intended.

● Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.

● Ensure accessibility standards are followed.


Job Requirements -

Skills/ Qualifications

● 10+ years of experience UI/UX design and strategy.

● Previous project experience focused on WCAG 2.1 Level AA Compliance or accessible design.

● Project roadmap and design interaction project management.

● Advanced Interaction Design experience (wearables and companion application).

● Experience with both mobile and response design.

● Experience leading user experience design on projects, including client/stakeholder interaction.

● Able to present portfolio and design's with full storytelling and process articulation (goals, success criteria, design journey, result.)

● Proficient in Miro, Figma or other visual design and wire-framing tools.

● Proven experience in creating stunning User Interface Designs.

● Solid understanding of wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, user flows, process flows and site maps.

● A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.

● Experience in the creation and/or maintaining design systems.

● Expert written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

● ·Effective problem solver who is not afraid to present innovative solutions.

● Positive attitude, collaborative spirit and openness to giving and receiving feedback.

● Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of cross-functional teams.

● Effective at juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

● Portfolio demonstrating your expertise and ability to articulate your process.

Wearable IoT with companion application previous experience.

Accessibility device experience.

Medical Industry experience.

Previous project experience integration with Flutter.
