Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a z/OS Installation and Maintenance Systems Programmer to join our Fortune 500 client, an IT infrastructure services provider. This programmer will be responsible for all aspects for maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting the z/OS operation system and all related software/applications running on an IBM mainframe. This programmer must have a strong understanding of SMP/E, IBM Utilities, Exits and Usermods. Primary duties include:
- Software installation, upgrades, and fixes using SMP/E
- Troubleshooting system issues including working with vendors in obtaining/creating a resolution
- Assisting agency clients in system related work and issues
- Assist in the training f new staff
- Provide support for the existing DR process utilizing the remote datacenter

Skills and Requirements
5+ years experience with SMP/E software installation and maintenance
5+years experience with z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, USS, and IBM Utilities
High school diploma or bachelors degree null
