DevSecOps Engineer

This is a U.S. based position. All of the programs we support require U.S. citizenship to be eligible for employment. All work must be conducted within the continental U.S.

We’re looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.

About the role:

As a DevSecOps Engineer , you are responsible for actively developing and implementing end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles, ensuring processes are both secure and efficient. Collaborate with clients, designing and implementing Kubernetes or Docker solutions. Take part in building CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a smooth software update process. Furthermore, actively participate in the application of GitOps principles for software delivery.

What we are looking for:

1. Three-plus years of demonstrated DevOps expertise leveraging Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment technologies such as Gitlab (and Gitlab Runners), Jenkins, Concourse, CircleCI, etc.
2. Experience developing production software leveraging modern languages (including: Java, Python, Go, NodeJS, etc.)
3. Working experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform
4. Experience building services using Cloud Infrastructure Providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
5. Demonstrated experience securing applications via CI/CD pipelines leveraging static code analysis, unit and integration testing, dependency analysis, etc.
6. Experience developing containerized services deployed on orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Mesos, etc.
7. Experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch etc.
8. Bachelors in Computer Science / Engineering / Physics / Mathematics
9. Able to obtain a Security+ within 90 days of employment with Raft

Highly preferred:

1. Experience with writing custom Helm Charts
2. Basic experience with Big Data
3. Multilingual programming abilities

Clearance Requirements:

1. Active Secret security clearance

Work Type:

1. Hybrid - Boston, MA preferred (or Langley, VA, Tampa. FL, Colorado Springs, CO, San Antonio, TX, Arlington, VA)
2. May require up to 10% travel

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $170,000

The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities.
