Description

Captivation Software is looking for an entry-level software engineer who will be acting as a Java Developer and is experienced in application development for Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana in RHEL and CentOS environments.

Requirements

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

• Three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in Java
• Experience with Gitlab
• Experience with scripting (python/bash)
• Knows Python 3 and Java - Be able to write and maintain web applications in Python and Java
• MySQL Experience
• Develop on Windows and Linux
• ELK Stack

Desired Skills:

• Rudimentary experience with Jira/Gitlab integration would be helpful, but not required

Benefits

• Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
