Burgess & Niple is looking for a Civil Engineer, Water/Wastewater to join our team in Akron.B&N Civil Engineer Responsibilities:Collaborate with Professional Engineers and design staff throughout various officesPerform tasks related to the design of water/wastewater, utility infrastructure processes, and facilitiesPrepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis & construction cost estimatesPerform construction related services including shop drawing review, response to requests for information, perform periodic site visits to observe construction & field inspectionsProvide support for project managers & senior design engineersSkills and Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited engineering programEngineer Intern (EI) registration required or ability to obtain within 6 months0-2 years of related civil engineering experience. Prior work experience, such as an internship, is desirable.Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
