Software Engineer

Software Engineer needs 5 years' experience in Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Spring, Guava) and a Bachelors in related field.

Software Engineer requires:

1. Security Clearance - A current Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance is required.
2. 3 years relevant experience with a Master's in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years of relevant experience.
3. Must have experience with Java and Python.
4. Experience in designing enterprise APIs.
5. Experience in RESTful web services.
6. Experience in Microservices architecture.
7. Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms.
8. Experience with the agile software lifecycle.
9. Experience with the Linux operating system.
10. Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Git, Nexus, Maven).
11. DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II compliance certification is required (i.e. Security+).
12. Must be able to work a hybrid schedule out of our Columbia, MD office.
