Key Responsibilities:

• Data Journey Consultation: Assist clients in navigating their data landscape by leveraging comprehensive expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data products and ecosystem.
• ETL Development: Develop and optimize data ingestion and ETL processes, ensuring high performance across both streaming and batch modes (utilizing tools such as Apache Beam).
• SQL Query Optimization: Craft efficient, modular SQL queries to facilitate in-depth analysis of complex data inquiries.
• Visualization Solutions: Design and implement reporting and dashboard capabilities, utilizing both off-the-shelf systems and custom-built metrics visualization tools (e.g., Looker).
• Infrastructure Management: Architect and oversee the technological infrastructure of our data platform, ensuring robust and scalable data solutions.
• Business Needs Assessment: Assess client business requirements and objectives, proposing innovative data solutions to meet their goals and empowering leaders to conduct exploratory analytics.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in GCP data products and ETL processes.
• Expertise in SQL and data visualization tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts.
