With your help, we can build extraordinary things that co-exist, and benefit local communities and habitats.Hatch is seeking a Regional Civil Lead for its Earth Sciences and Engineering (ESE) practice in the USA. The ESE group forms an integrated core that provides clients with outstanding project execution through our geotechnical, hydrotechnical, and civil site development expertise. From concept to operation, we’re committed to providing traditional services alongside proprietary technologies and innovative thinking to deliver custom, cost-effective solutions. The next phase of growth will be further national expansion as we establish a broader presence across the country. This exciting role will oversee our USA region business which has been expanding its footprint within the region and is poised for substantial future growth.Reporting to the Regional ESE Director, this role can be based out of any of our major U.S. locations (Pittsburgh or Houston) and be responsible for growing and leading a thriving civil group in coordination with colleagues around the broader global Hatch platform. The Regional Civil Lead will provide leadership in maintaining and further developing the Civil practice, including responsibility for business development, team leadership and development, thought leadership and research, client engagement, technical oversight of deliverables and project financial performance.Hatch is an employee-owned, multidisciplinary professional services firm, established for over 65 years, that delivers a comprehensive array of technical and strategic services. Our experience spans over 150 countries around the world in the metals, energy, infrastructure, digital, and investments market sectors.Responsibilities:Act as the overall regional leader for Hatch’s Civil business and be responsible for the growth of the practice in the market and financially.Achieving and developing business development targets through client relationships and project pursuits.Grow the team to match increasing workload and collaborate globally with the whole of the Energy global team.Lead the bid development processes by managing technical proposals and providing written technical inputs as necessary.Provide the strategic planning of short and long-term business direction.Liaise, network and encourage collaboration across Hatch’s disciplines and businesses that contribute to the overall Power offer.Work closely with other managers on all ongoing projects and staffing.Provide quality assurance of ongoing projects, reports, bid submissions and products.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.15+ years of experience in civil engineering with a strong consulting element.Must be a registered Professional Engineer.Previous experience in leading and growing a team and function for commercial performance in a consultancy environment.Demonstrated ability to lead and manage project teams in a multi-disciplinary environment.Demonstrable track record of successful business development and achievement of targets.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively; build relationships and influence effectively, with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills in complex and changing environments.Why join us?Work withgreat people ( to make a differenceCollaborate on excitingprojects ( to develop innovative solutionsTop employer ( we offer you?Flexible work environmentLong term career developmentThink globally, work locallyDon't meet every single requirement?
