Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with 5-10 years of design/field experience. The work will include field investigations, structural analysis and design, and interaction with clients and other design and construction professionals. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects involving steel, concrete, timber, and masonry materials, including new buildings, historical restoration, and renovation of existing buildings. The work will also include forensic investigations and litigation support for expert witness services.
Produce structural engineering designs and modifications by identifying project objectives and issues; researching and developing structural engineering techniques and approaches; verifying and validating design and construction.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering. Master of Science preferred.
- Professional registration preferred.
- Experienced with AutoCAD and computer-aided analysis/design of structures is required; experience with BIM software is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are also required.
- Some travel is required to attend site meetings and perform investigations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.
