Quality Engineer

Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join thier team. As a key player in quality assurance efforts, you will ensure they meet the stringent standards required by Tier 1 automotive clients. This role demands a strong understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols in line with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process and product non-conformities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues.Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.Work closely with Tier 1 clients to understand their quality requirements and ensure our processes meet or exceed these expectations.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.Provide training and support to team members on quality standards and best practices.Manage documentation related to quality control, including inspection records, test results, and audit findings.Participate in supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably within the automotive industry.In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.Strong problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.Proficiency in quality management tools and software.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Certification in quality engineering (e.g., CQE) is a plus.
