Sonatech has a challenging and rewarding work environment where employees have the opportunity to develop their careers by taking on new responsibilities and providing innovative solutions.POSITION SUMMARY: The Electro-Mechanical Assembler contributes to the production of high-performance underwater acoustics systems by assembling electro-mechanical systems and components according to engineering specifications and drawings.RESPONSIBILITIES:Solder PWA components, surface mount components, cable assemblies and connectors.Conduct detailed mechanical and electrical assembly, including wiring, soldering, and component installation.Prep work including but not limited to wire preparation, stringing cable assemblies, and sandblasting.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:One year soldering experienceU.S. Citizen or permanent residentDESIRED:IPC-J-STD certificationExperience reading drawingsExperience using measuring equipment; digital indicators and microscopeAbility to work with adhesivesAbility to work in a team environmentPay range: $20-$35/hour - several factors are considered when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Benefits: Benefits include medical, dental and vision, life insurance, paid vacation and sick time, 3% 401K contribution (no matching required), company events.Sonatech is an EEO/AA/Disability/Vets Employer.
