Position Title : Cyber Security Engineer
Location : Arlington, VA (with periodic visits to Springfield, VA)
Clearance: Top Secret
Summary
Personnel will help strengthen the OBO security posture through the enhancement of the Bureau's Information System Security Program through independent assessment of application information systems and general support systems for authorization and enhancement of information security continuous monitoring. This position will also incorporate best practices from the industry and/or Government in all OBO/IRM cyber mission areas, specifically cloud security, network security monitoring, and communication security (COMSEC).
Responsibilities
- Conduct network, system and application vulnerability and risk assessments.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Implement secure principles for firewalls, routers, switches, hubs, proxy servers, and security servers.
Minimum Qualifications
The OneZero Candidate will have Five (5) years of progressive technical experience. Strong problem solving and resolution skills are required.
Education Requirements
Must possess a Bachelor Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or related fields; additional (4) years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
