QLIK Replicate Engineer (Hybrid- Multiple Locations)

Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for QLIK Replicate Engineer. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.
This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days per week in one of the following locations:

• St. Louis, MO
• Bloomfield, CT
• Morris Plains, NJ
• Austin, TX
• Philadelphia, PA
• Denver, CO
• Phoenix, AZ
• Nashville, TN
• Tampa, FL

Responsibilities:

• Working experience with QLIK replicate is must
• Working experience with Golden gate and IIDR is a plus
• Install replication products and drivers on windows and linux systems
• Apply the patches to replication tools for life cycle management
• Must be a team player
• Must be an Enthusiastic candidate who work in a challenging environment
• Must adapt to a change ,learning new technologies
• Must be very good at documentation and presetation skills
• Automation using Python and terraform is a plus
• AWS certification is a plus
• working experience with AWS services like RDS , Aurora , S3 etc
• Good Problem solving skills and analytical skills
• Must be able to deliver the results with minimal supervision
• Assist project teams, database teams and development teams in the setting up of new replication requests
• Provide operational support for replication technologies
• Provide assistance and training to database teams regarding replication technologies
• Work with vendors to troubleshoot replication issues as needed
• Test new releases and patches provided by vendors
• Support migrations from legacy replication technologies to new technologies
• Confer with application owners, users, and other engineers to collect requirements for replication enhancements
• Provide oncall support

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree is related field is REQUIRED.
• 7 years of IT experience
• 3-5 years' experience supporting database or replication technologies especially QLIK replicate
• Linux Shell scripting and Windows Power Shell scripting
• Experience with Qlik replicate is preferable, IIDR and GoldenGate is a plus
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server or other database technologies
• Previous experience administering databases in an enterprise environment
• Personal attributes: adaptable, change agent, collaborative, results driven, accountability oriented.
• Understand the cross-functional interdependencies with and across IT communities. Adjust communication style based on target audience.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, quick moving environment Additional helpful experience:
• Ability to work off-hours
• Experience developing automation using Ansible playbooks
• Experience with public cloud technologies such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Kafk plus
