Our client, a telecom company, is looking for a Senior UX Designer for an ongoing hybrid contract in Bothell, Washington. As a Sr. UX Designer, you'll be a key member of a dynamic product design team supporting app-specific initiatives.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the end-to-end UX design process for mobile and native apps, from concept ideation to final implementation.
- Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions, ensuring a deep understanding of user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate your design concepts and solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to ensure the feasibility and successful implementation of design solutions.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and refine designs based on user insights and data.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mobile and native app design, and actively share your knowledge and insights with the team.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices within the organization, fostering a culture of empathy and user advocacy.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., UX design, human-computer interaction, graphic design).
- Proven experience as a UX designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on mobile and native apps.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Experience in conducting user research, including interviews, usability testing, and surveys.
- Strong knowledge of mobile app design guidelines and best practices for iOS and Android platforms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and solutions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, juggling multiple projects and priorities.
- Experience in telecom industry or related fields is a plus.
