Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer I, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications, working closely with our design and product teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. You will be involved in all stages of the development process, from ideation to deployment, and will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and demonstrate your technical abilities. As a valued member of our team, you’ll engage in the full engineering lifecycle—from initial research and discovery to rapid iteration on promising concepts, solution prototyping, feature design, and end-to-end delivery. Your contributions will span system design, quality, scalability & performance optimizations, and monitoring & telemetry, culminating in successful service rollout and ongoing live site support.
The proficient candidate will have a dedicated background in building rich user experiences and a passion for creating intuitive and engaging digital products.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
- Experience with one or more cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Experience creating, developing, delivering, deploying, maintaining online services
Software Engineering IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $81,900 - $160,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $105,600 - $174,600 per year.
