Senior Process Engineer

Job Description:
Act as the primary leader for all engineering efforts, including process, structural, and mechanical aspects, on assigned projects. Collaborating closely with project management and the design manager, you’ll guide projects through the design phases and commissioning. This role involves taking an active leadership position within the engineering team and leveraging the strengths of team members to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.

- Hole & Load Drawings
- DSI Equipment Specifications
- Specify Valves, Pumps, Fans, Heat Exchangers, and Burners
- Process Descriptions
- Commissioning
- Mentor new engineering team members
- Assist other team members with their work as needed
- Review the work of other engineers as needed
- Lead special initiatives as required to improve engineering processes
- Work to develop engineering standards
- Work for the success of other members of the Engineering Team
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical
- 5+ years of evaporation, spray drying, or other food equipment experience
- 2D CAD (AutoCAD) skills and basic 3D (Solidworks) skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Must be hardworking and a self-starter able to organize and tackle large complex tasks
