Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking a Quality Engineering Manager for our Plymouth, Minnesota location.

Clearance Required: Yes; you must either currently have or be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance.

Telecommute: No - Teleworking not available for this position.

Travel Required: Some travel required – 20%.

Relocation Assistance: Relocation assistance may be available.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

  1. Ensuring quality throughout the design, development, manufacturing, engineering, support, and operations processes.
  2. Leading the strategic direction and site initiatives that ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations, and engineering specifications.
  3. Managing, developing, and providing technical guidance and support to the quality team.
  4. Taking ownership and ensuring site compliance with standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100.
  5. Working closely with customers to understand their quality requirements and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  6. Conducting cost improvement analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings.
  7. Leading improvement initiatives to enhance quality assurance processes and drive continuous improvement.
  8. Leading supplier quality initiatives.
  9. Leading internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality management system standards.
  10. Analyzing production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  11. Managing and allocating resources effectively to meet production targets.

US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Minimum 5 years’ direct experience in a leadership role.
  • U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

WE VALUE:

  • Manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Engineering Only: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • Extensive reliability engineering experience.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal/external customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to focus priorities to best impact quality metrics.
  • Significant experience in leading technical teams.
  • Site leadership experience.
  • Experience implementing Quality Management systems i.e. ISO 9001/13485, AS9100.
  • Certified Reliability Engineer desired.
