Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking a Quality Engineering Manager for our Plymouth, Minnesota location.
Clearance Required: Yes; you must either currently have or be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance.
Telecommute: No - Teleworking not available for this position.
Travel Required: Some travel required – 20%.
Relocation Assistance: Relocation assistance may be available.
YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
- Ensuring quality throughout the design, development, manufacturing, engineering, support, and operations processes.
- Leading the strategic direction and site initiatives that ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations, and engineering specifications.
- Managing, developing, and providing technical guidance and support to the quality team.
- Taking ownership and ensuring site compliance with standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100.
- Working closely with customers to understand their quality requirements and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Conducting cost improvement analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Leading improvement initiatives to enhance quality assurance processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Leading supplier quality initiatives.
- Leading internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality management system standards.
- Analyzing production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Managing and allocating resources effectively to meet production targets.
US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Minimum 5 years’ direct experience in a leadership role.
- U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
WE VALUE:
- Manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Engineering Only: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- Extensive reliability engineering experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal/external customers.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to focus priorities to best impact quality metrics.
- Significant experience in leading technical teams.
- Site leadership experience.
- Experience implementing Quality Management systems i.e. ISO 9001/13485, AS9100.
- Certified Reliability Engineer desired.
