Geologics is seeking a talented Principal Systems Engineer to work with one of our national aerospace and defense partners in support of a mission-critical, classified program in Aurora, CO . This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for direct-hire conversion, dependent on qualifications and skillset.
Position: Principal Systems Engineer - Digital Signal Processing
Type: W-2, Contract to Direct Hire (6+ month contract with potential extension or direct-hire conversion)
Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per hour
Location: Onsite in Aurora, CO
DoD Clearance Requirement: To be considered for this position, a DoD issued Active Top Secret-SCI is required. Due to the nature of work performed in the facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide Algorithm development and prototypes
- Provide support in a software development systems engineering role using Agile methodology
- Interacting with customers and end-users
- Providing and briefing status to program management and customers
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- In order to be considered for this position, an Active Top Secret-SCI is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). Candidates without a Bachelor's degree will be considered if all other qualifications are met.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, to include:
- Experience in Algorithm development
- Experience in SIGINT and/or Digital communications
- Experience in the RF domain
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Familiar with Xmidas
- Experience with Agile development as it applies to software development
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of administration
- Experience in Systems Engineering leadership
- Systems Engineering experience on a large government software development contract
- Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment, being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software and Integration teams
