Job Summary

The Deployment Engineer I is responsible for deployment-related activities, task management, scheduling, installation services (remote and onsite), and support. Must be able to work with the business community and vendor partners to gather requirements and translate that to implementation needs or activities.

Your Key Job Functions

  1. Lead deployment, execution and fulfillment of IT technologies in the restaurants.
  2. Serve as an IT point of contact across varying projects and internal discussions/meetings where technology deployment and implementation are a key factor.
  3. Serve as a project management lead specific to restaurant system technologies.
  4. Delegate tasks to team members and hold accountability for deadlines.
  5. Maintain documentation for projects, processes and relative responsible areas.
  6. Ability to travel to do field installation work.

What You Bring to the Team

  1. Supporting hospitality, fast-casual, quick service or big/small-box retail.
  2. Knowledge of logical, physical technology modeling.
  3. Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and oral.
  4. Able to manage multiple medium/large scale projects simultaneously.
  5. Proven analytical and problem-solving ability.
  6. Demonstrated ability to learn new skills quickly.
  7. Ability to work in and contribute to an inclusive team environment.
  8. Self-starter with a “can do” attitude that should have experience troubleshooting acumen.
  9. Ability to influence and work cross-functionally within a multi-department tiered organization.
  10. Experience with restaurant technology concepts to lead discussions with both business partners, as well as IT peers.
  11. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
  12. 3+ years of working experience in support technical platforms in a customer/client-oriented service model.
  13. 3+ years of working experience in a technical capacity within an environment supporting hospitality, fast-casual, quick service or big/small-box retail.
  14. CompTIA Certifications or relevant certifications or work experience.
  15. Microsoft certification or relevant certifications for alternate product sets.
  16. Experience with Windows 2016, 11, 10, and IOT.
  17. Experience with System Center and Configuration Management.
  18. Experience with PowerShell (All versions).
  19. Experience with Virtual OS.
  20. Experience with NCR Software for casual dining/hospitality platforms.
  21. Experience with NCR Hardware Platforms.
  22. Experience with QSR Automations Platforms.
  23. Experience with EloTouch Technologies.
  24. Experience with HP and Dell Hardware Platforms.
  25. Experience with GCP, Firestore and Firebase.
  26. Experience with CoreOS.
