Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Architecture Designer III to join our Boston Architecture studio to work on challenging and rewarding projects.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Performing basic architectural calculations for spatial design and programming.
- Preparing designs, drawings, renderings, presentations, specifications, reports, and related materials.
- Maintaining liaison with design and project management teams across the studio.
- Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.
- Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities.
- Coordinate technical and administrative activities with staff in other disciplines and departments participating in an assigned project.
- Assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design personnel.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS plus 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Architecture.
- 5 years of experience as an Architect or Architectural Designer on a variety of building types.
- Ability to become a licensed architect in the future.
- Experience with Adobe Suite, Autodesk Revit, Enscape, Rhino, and SketchUp.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
