Active Clearance Requirement: This position requires an ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph. To be considered for this position, you MUST have an ACTIVE Clearance Level of Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.

Job Description:

Seeking a strong User Interface (UI) Developer to build new mission-critical applications on a high-performing development team. Work will be completed in an iterative fashion using scrum techniques with inputs from the Project Manager, IT Division Leadership, Technical Director, Subject Matter Experts, and other business stakeholders. This position is located in the Herndon, Virginia area.

Mandatory Skills:

1. Ability to lead and direct design thinking for applications
2. Working experience with Git, GitHub or GitLab, code reviews
3. Experience with Jenkins
4. Experience with Rest APIs
5. Working experience with AWS technologies (EC2, S3, SQS, SNS)
6. Experience with application frameworks (Spring Boot, NodeJS-NestJS)
7. Expert knowledge of UI design principles and techniques
8. Ability to work well with others as well as independently (MUST leave ego at the door)
9. Ability to work well in a constantly evolving work environment
10. BS/BA in Software Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or similar OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Optional Skills:

1. Experience with UI testing frameworks
2. Experience with Docker/Docker Compose
3. Experience building js libraries/NPM modules
4. Experience with multi-environment deployments
