Job Details:
Platform Cloud is looking for a strong Full Stack Engineer to join our team to help us build a brand-new end-to-end system that will enable the scaling and automation of business processes in the Cloud. Our system follows a micro-services architecture, primarily leveraging Java and Spring Boot on the NextGen Cloud Infrastructure (Hyperforce), integrating with Generative-AI, Machine Translation, and 3rd party APIs. Our service is brand new, so there is a lot of opportunity for growth, innovation, and leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, test, and deliver highly scalable products.
- Master our development process, culture, and code base, then improve it.
- Operate effectively in the continuous integration and deployment (hybrid engineering) model where engineers are encouraged to craft and implement vital work and ensure quality of the code base.
- Collaborate with others on improving development technologies, tools, and processes.
- Present your own designs to internal/external groups and review designs of others.
- Develop test strategies, design test automation, and write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics.
- Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to customer escalations and keep services operational and highly available.
Required Skills:
- A related technical degree required.
- Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and experience with at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Ruby, Python).
- Proficiency in at least one application framework (Spring Boot, NodeJS, etc.).
- Understanding of Database technologies such as SQL, PL/SQL and relational database schema design.
- Experience in automated testing including unit and functional testing using Java, JUnit, JSUnit, Selenium.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of web technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, and/or JSON.
- Experience building highly scalable web applications.
- Experience with Agile software development and test-driven development.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
